The journal presents the progress in Russian and foreign medicine - in obstetrics and gynecology: clinical cases, discussions of terminology, diagnosis, treatment strategies. Special emphasis is made on the polyvalent effects of drugs on the female reproductive organs and systems, on the fetus and subsequent development of the newborn. Reviews of literature and lectures on pressing problems of obstetrics, gynecology, and allied disciplines discuss the methods and practices of obstetrics and gynecology training. In addition, the journal informs about congresses, conferences, and workshops in Russia and foreign countries, presents abstracts of the priority reports in other journals, and reviews new monographs.This journal is addressed to professionals – practicing physicians, obstetricians and gynecologists, as well as to endocrinologists, therapists, urologists, oncologists, anesthesiologists and specialists in intensive care, neonatologists and pediatricians, specialists in fetal surgery, and pharmacologists.
